September 23rd is not that faraway ladies and gents and the time has almost come for the return of Supernatural! Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles return for a new season (season 7 to be exact) and the stakes are getting higher. With the battle for purgatory switching hands from demon Crowley to newly self-appointed man-in-charge angel Castiel (YIKES!), Sam and Dean have all new evils to face.
With the return of Sam's soul, his memories from his time spent spiritless are resurfacing....and at a dangerous cost to Sam. In an article by Entertainment Weekly, Jared Padalecki comments on our beloved Sammy's condition. "He has such self-doubt that it's crippling." Battle for power and memories from the past causing trouble??? Sounds like our boys are back to deliver us an action-packed season.
There is also the issue that Castiel has self-elected himself "God." This only leads to trouble. An angel who rebelled now in charge of Heaven and Earth? Casualties are certainly in store.

Yet despite their '"normal" supernatural dilemmas, our characters will have to face an all new foe--prime time TV. Supernatural will be airing alongside Fox's Fringe, which will be entering its fourth season. Who will reign supreme? Now I don't know much about the show but I know there are many of you who do. I would love to hear your comparisons and predictions for the upcoming fall season of shows and your opinions on which of the two shows will reign victorious. In the words of Jared Padalecki, "I guess you could say, Bring it."
